You change your appearance until the spell ends or you use an action to dismiss it. This change includes your clothing, armor, weapons, and other objects you are carrying. You can appear up to 1 foot taller or shorter, thin, obese, or anywhere in between. You cannot change your basic body type, so you must take a form that has a similar arrangement of limbs. Furthermore, the extent of the illusion is entirely up to you.
The changes made by this spell do not hold up to physical inspection. For example, if you use this spell to add a hat to your outfit, objects will pass through the hat, and if touched, one will not feel its presence but rather touch your head and hair instead. If you use this spell to appear thinner, a person's hand attempting to touch you will make contact with your body while their hand seems unobstructed.
To detect that you are disguised, a creature can use its action to inspect your appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
