You touch a non-magical object that can fit in one hand, weighing 5 pounds or less, and is neither worn nor carried by a hostile creature. The object instantly loses its three-dimensionality and is absorbed into your material component, appearing there as an extremely realistic sketch or painting.

The object has no weight, and time stops for it while stored (food does not rot, ice does not melt). You can only store one object at a time in this manner. If you cast this spell on a second object, the first is expelled from the canvas and appears in your space.

As an action, you can brush your hand over the drawing to manifest the object in the real world, in your free hand. If the material component (the notebook or canvas) is destroyed or if the spell is dispelled (via Dispel Magic), the object is violently expelled, appearing in the nearest unoccupied space and taking 1d4 force damage.
