Prestidigitation
Prestidigitation
Level 0 - Transmutation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 10 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: up to 1 hour
This spell is a minor trick that novice spellcasters use as practice. It allows you to create one of the following magical effects:
• The spell creates an instantaneous harmless sensory effect, such as a shower of sparks, a puff of air, faint music notes, or a strange smell.
• The spell instantly lights or snuffs out a candle, torch, or small campfire.
• The spell cleans or soils an object no larger than a 1-foot cube.
• The spell warms, cools, or flavors nonliving material within a 1-foot cube for 1 hour.
• The spell creates a symbol, small mark, or color on an object or surface for 1 hour.
• The spell allows you to create a non-magical trinket or an illusory image that fits in your hand, lasting until the end of your next turn.
If the spell is cast multiple times, you can maintain up to 3 of these non-instantaneous effects simultaneously, and you can dismiss these effects as an action.
